SOFEN LIFT360: track tools and lifting equipment.

A platform project to centralise assets, check-out and returns, inspections, certificates, maintenance and calibration across multiple sites.

The operational challenge

Scattered inventories, hard-to-find certificates and manual deadlines complicate maintenance, HSE and procurement work. This project aims to provide shared tracking for lifting tools, accessories and equipment.

Registry and identification

Target features: asset register, location, assignment, accountable person, QR identification, search and event history.

Inspections, certificates and maintenance

Planned features: inspection schedules, findings, approvals, versioned certificates, expiry alerts, interventions and audit trails. Final features will be refined with the first pilot partner.

Check-out, returns and compliance

Planned features include reservations, accountability, transfers between stores and status checks before check-out. The project includes blocking prohibited transactions for expired, non-compliant or quarantined assets under validated business rules.

Maintenance and calibration

Planned scope includes preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders, spare parts, costs, calibration schedules and certificates, and tracking out-of-tolerance results.

Mobile work and integration

Requirements include QR or barcode scanning, inspections with photos and signatures, offline work with synchronisation, and optional RFID. ERP, maintenance, document and identity connections will be defined during scoping. These capabilities remain to be developed and tested.

Conceptual architecture

A business interface connected to an API, asset register and separate document storage. Role-based access and traceable changes are planned. Final architecture, integrations and deployment require scoping.

AI with explicit limits

Anomaly detection and prioritisation support are potential uses requiring reliable histories, domain evaluation and human approval. No automated diagnosis or safety certification is presented as available.

Maturity and next step

In development, not yet commercially deployed. Pilot partner sought. Images are conceptual, not software screenshots. Next: agree a testable scope, authorised data and success criteria.

LIFT360 trial workspace

An initial working version lets you create assets, record check-out and returns, log inspections and calibration, open and close maintenance orders, and export data. Each account has a private workspace with saved history. Attachments, shared staff roles, integrations and offline functions remain to be developed.
