SOFEN RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
Connecting science with practical use.
Applied research driven by industrial problems, data quality and skills transfer.
Research directions
Predictive maintenance, industrial Machine Learning, intelligent dispatch, process prediction, Process Mining, multi-agent systems and formal verification. These directions do not imply commercial results.
Expertise and attribution
Professor Blaise Fyama, managing director and scientific director, brings academic experience supervising software projects. University work remains attributed to its authors and institutions; it is not automatically a SOFEN asset or commercial reference.
Scientific cooperation
Define protocols, qualify authorised data, evaluate prototypes and document limits. Agreements specify roles, intellectual property and publication terms.
Publications
Detailed references will be published after author, institution, year and source verification. Contact SOFEN to discuss research or request scientific references.
Intelligent mining dispatch
Presented by SOFEN, based on work by Eric TSHIBANGU under the supervision of Professor Blaise FYAMA. Commercial scope and on-site validation are to be defined with partners. The developed foundation includes data preparation, a LightGBM predictive model and an input interface displaying an estimated cycle time in minutes. It provides an initial decision-support component for dispatch teams.
